Edibikes is an urban commuter-bike company. Our goal is to get more people commuting in the city with bikes instead of driving cars. There are so many benefits to biking. It's easier, cheaper, healthier and faster. We're not suggesting you get rid of your car altogether, but it makes getting around locally a cinch. Edibikes represents easy commuting.

We get it, picking out a bike is a complicated process. You're not a biker but want to reap the benefits of commuting in the city. You don't want to deal with parking, traffic, and gas prices. You want to bike in style. You want a comfortable ride. You want a safe ride. That's why we started Edibikes. We redesigned bikes for the average Joe. We did all the thinking so you don't have to. Our bikes are smart, in just about every way imaginable.

• • 2 speeds with automatic shifting gears (yeah that's right, automatic). Never mess around with gears again.

  • Make yourself visible on the road. Edibikes have 2 sets of lights, front and rear, that are powered by the wheel. Never worry about changing batteries, so it's always reliable. The lights turn on automatically when it's dark. And they charge up while you're riding and stay lit for a few minutes even after you stop. This keeps you visible when you're stopped at traffic lights or stop signs.

  • 2 braking systems make braking reliable. Use the hand brake, or pedal backwards to engage the coaster brake.

  • Comfortable seat, handlebar grips, and pedals make for an enjoyable ride

  • Anti-theft devices keep your wheels and seatposts from being stolen. We've all seen bikes locked to poles without wheels, or even worse, wheels locked to poles without bikes!
